The Academy Award nominations for 2015 are in! Find out who we'll be rooting for on Oscar night inside....
There were definitely some snubs, but there's also a few things to cheer about.
Congrats are in order for the cast and crew of Selma! The film, helmed by director Ava Duvernay, nabbed the nomination for Best Picture. Unfortunately, Ava and star David Oyelowo were passed up for Best Director and Best Actor nominations.
Another biggie: Rapper Common just landed his first Oscar nod for his song "Glory" from the film Selma (in which he also starred). He and John Legend have nabbed the Best Original Song nomination!
"Grateful" from Gina Prince Bythewood's Beyond The Lights also nabbed a nomination. While the song is performed by Rlta Ora, creator Diane Warren gets the official nomination.
