Mick Jagger opens up about Girlfriend L’Wren Scott’s Death, James Brown Biopic (Video)

Mick Jagger opened up about the death of his girlfriend, fashion designer L’Wren Scott for the first time in a Today Show interview. He also spoke about ‘Get on Up’ the James Brown biopic which he is producing. The rock legend and Rolling Stones frontman spoke for the first time about the death by suicide of L’Wren Scott in the prerecorded television interview with Today Show anchor Matt Lauer. Mick Jagger said of his loss, “I’m doing okay. It was difficult — you know, very hard year — but I got back into it by working on touring with the Stones in Europe, and doing other things, including this great movie.” He went on to speak about having “a lot of support” from family and friends had helped him. He spoke about his upcoming James Brown biopic, ‘Get on Up’ which takes its title from one of the Godfather of Soul’s signature hit. It is the first major motion picture about him.
